‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose’ is the debut album by Jack, Jamie, Suren and Ed, four old schoolfriends from North London, known collectively as Bombay Bicycle Club.

It’s a timeless, British debut, brimming with youthful urgency, honesty and romance. Fans of Bloc Party, Broken Social Scene and Bon Iver – or any mildly sensitive soul with a fondness for ricocheting guitar chords – will be utterly beguiled. Enjoy a Jazzy Night in Cheltenham - Sunday 2nd December

If you like Jazz, you should make sure not to miss the Jazz Night on 2nd December at Subtone .  John Keen and his band will be opening with their toe tapping New Orleans style jazz numbers and then the night will continue with a modern jazz band.

Subtone is a great venue for this type of event, as it is not only easy to find in central Cheltenham, but also has a great atmosphere for live performances.

Tickets are £10 each, including nibbles, and the ticket sales are in aid of the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts.

Neville Staple (born Neville Euton Staple, 11 April 1955, Manchester, Jamaica) is a singer for the two-tone ska band ‘The Specials’ as well as his own combo ‘The Neville Staple Band’. Along with Ranking Roger, he also sings in Special Beat.
