DJ Wire started his career playing on pirate radio station Freak FM along side DJ EZ and The Heartless Crew, he is credited with playing an instrumental part in the formation of the “Grime” scene with the release of his seminal track “Believe Me” in 2003 which was originally championed by EZ. From there he went on to join now legal Rinse FM which at the time was home to the likes of Dizzy Rascal and Wiley.

This marked the start of 2 further years producing and DJ’ing around the UK Garage and Grime scene with tremendous national radio support. He went on to make a mark on the Drum and Bass scene becoming a resident at east london’s Herbal and releasing several tracks with support from the likes of Pendulum and DJ Hype amongst many others and then in 2008 he teamed up with Chase and Status to set-up and run MTA Records – home to Nero and 16bit. It was through Chase and Status he met Example. At this time Wire produced several tracks for Example’s “Won’t go quietly” Gold selling album. During this period of intense production and touring performing as part of Example’s live show, Wire completed remixes for the likes of Kids in glass houses, Example and Ellie Goulding. In 2010 he presented his first multi genre mix CD entitled “The Playlist” for Ministry of Sound with Example which represented the content of their DJ sets.

DJ Wire continues to work with Chase and Status at MTA Records and performing DJ sets with Example around the UK and the world, in locations including Ibiza, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, South East Asia, Europe and South Africa to name a few. More recently DJ Wire has a signed his current single “Band of Outsiders” to Steve Aoki’s highly revered Dim Mak label.

Subtone Presents Iconic Rave Legends UTAH SAINTS!!!

One of the duo’s biggest hits was ‘What Can You Do For Me’ . Originally recorded in a bedroom in Leeds on a 1mb computer and first released in 1991 The track has been reworked by the Utah Saint’s alongside Drumsound and Bassline Smith and is out on Ministry of Sound Recordings February 26. Remixes come from Doorly, Herve and Felix Leiter.,

XMAS DJ SHOWCASE WINNER ‘ ADAM GREENWOOD’ will be hitting the decks main room Sat 18th Feb

Adam GreenwoodHaving a passion for music from early age, his creativity began with drums where he started to hone his natural rhythm and real enjoyment for creating funky beats.

After a stint of living in London and frequenting clubs such as Fabric, The End and Ministry of Sound this later transferred to the dance forum when he first purchased a set of record decks. It was this new channel with took his creativity to the next level combining his technical drumming knowledge of how to construct beats with the clubbers logic of what makes a good set.

Since then he has never failed in filling the dance floor with his ability to gauge the audience and drop tunes to fit the mood. His style is heavily infuenced by the likes of Umek, Stefano Noferini, Steve Lawler and Sven Vath in bringing high energy, tech groove beats to the floor.

Martin Reeves, AKA Krafty Kuts, is without doubt one of the world’s greatest DJ’s. Lauded in the UK, worshiped in Australia, acclaimed in America, where ever he plays he is guaranteed to cause a commotion with his riotous skills.

So far in a glittering career he has gained dance music’s top accolades including Best International DJ at the Australian Dance Music Awards, Breakspoll’s Face of Breaks… 2003 and Best Breaks DJ at the M8 Ibiza awards 2006, in only his first year as a resident on the white isle. A stunning haul at Breakspoll 2007 saw him claiming Best Album for his debut long player ‘Freakshow’, Best DJ for a record third consecutive year and to cap it off, the richly deserved Outstanding Contribution to Breakbeat award that acknowledged his long journey to the acme of club culture.

From their early singles for Concrete Records to their genre defying ‘Six Million Ways To Live’ lp, the Dub Pistols have always added a much needed Rock n Roll swagger to the UK’s dance scene. Chewing up hip-hop, dub, techno, ska & punk & spitting them out in a renegade futuristic skank they have consistently defied genres & exceeded the highest of expectations.
